the LOVAT BARNES gallery

We have available more than 1,500 drawings, ranging in size from 6" x 4" to 10" x 8".
They date from 1988 through to now. None were created for purposes of being viewed, but were references to where Bill Hudson had been or what he had seen. The subject matter is of buildings, people, animals, plants, paintings, his surroundings - the list is endless.
In each case, the common denominator is Time, these are sketches of what is in front of Bill, and done in just a few minutes.

From October 2011, we have been able to remove some of them from the drawing books.
